WORK has begun to transform Bamber Bridge with a £3.35 million ‘super scheme’.

Improvements to a roundabout on Flensburg Way will involve temporary overnight road closures on the A582 and B5253 during August and September.

The latest stage of improvement work along the A582 will go ahead at the Pope Lane roundabout. Preparatory work is scheduled to start on Monday 11 July, and will continue into August, with the main junction work following in September.
