Kickstart scheme

The kickstart scheme is a government initiative that provides funding to employers to create job placements for 16 – 24 year olds. This is a six month placement to help young people to develop their skills and provide them with work experience. 

Employers and jobseekers can find out more about the Kickstart scheme via the government website.

DWP Digital have just launched their digital and technology apprenticeships, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn.

If you’re successful, you’ll get:

  • A permanent Civil Service job
  • A starting salary of £27,000 plus benefits
  • The chance to gain industry-standard qualifications, and
  • To work on projects that have a positive impact on people’s lives

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve recently left education or you’re looking for a change of career.  Our apprenticeships are open to anyone who can demonstrate an interest in engineering.
