The next phase of work to widen a section of the A582 in South Ribble into a dual-carriageway is due to begin after Easter.

A consultation is taking place from Monday 2nd February to Sunday 15th March 2015 on the preferred way of upgrading the A582 to dual carriageway as part of the City Deal.

Work is continuing along Golden Way to make the section of Golden Way from Cop Lane towards Preston into a dual carriageway

Businesses are invited to attend a celebration event on Wednesday 12th November and find out what business mentoring is all about! The event runs from 6pm - 9pm at the Best Western Leyland Hotel.

Work as part of the City Deal to upgrade Chain House Lane junction on the A582 at Whitestake is now nearing completion. So far work has created more space for traffic and the project will soon enter the final phase with the start of surfacing work.
