The Council has launched a new Economic Strategy setting out clear ambitions for the local economy, businesses and people. The strategy provides a long-term vision and short-term priorities to direct activities up to 2025.
The strategy addresses four broad areas:
- Space and Place - providing space to grow.
- Workforce and Skills - providing the right skills, training and people.
- Employability- working with communities to remove any barriers to employment.
