New Apprenticeship Levy guidance has been issued by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The apprenticeship levy requires all employers operating in the UK, with a pay bill over £3 million each year, to make an investment in apprenticeships. You can benefit from this investment by training apprentices.
The guidance provides information on how the apprenticeship levy will work, from when it is introduced on 6 April 2017. It also explains the principles that apprenticeship funding and the levy will operate on from April 2017, whether you pay the levy or not.
The details are available on the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills website at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apprenticeship-levy-how-it-will-work/apprenticeship-levy-how-it-will-work
