Work is continuing along Golden Way to make the section of Golden Way from Cop Lane towards Preston into a dual carriageway.  To enable work to start on the southern section, from Booth's roundabout to Cop Lane, Lancashire County Council (LCC) will be carrying out preparatory work to remove trees and bushes on the eastern side of the road during February. 

To accommodate the proposed shared use cycle/footway on Millbrook Way, LCC will also be removing and cutting back trees and bushes on the western side of the road between the Booth’s entrance and Cop Lane.
